Welcome to all the new children in Class 1!

 

Maths: learning about numbers and counting to 20. Year One children will add and subtract two numbers and learn about money.


Language and communication: using our voices to make different sounds. Learning about the alphabet. Writing our names and writing and using labels for a variety of purposes.

Topic work (including knowledge and understanding of the world, creative skills, PE and personal and social development): learning about ourselves and about where we live.

 

PE: the children will be using hoops and quoits and use the gym apparatus to explore ways of travelling.
